CRBN Buzz (And No, It's Not The Paddle)

The buzz whenever I get to the courts is always, "Have you tried out this new paddle yet?" And rightfully so, if familiar with CRBN. I am so tempted to upgrade to the new TRUFOAM Series that was recently released. Despite all of this though, the one piece of equipment I love currently and found challenging to find initially was of all things that right pickleball backpack.


When I first started playing, I simply used a regular gym-type bag, assuming that was all I needed. I quickly realized that wasn't the case. I needed something customized for my paddle, court shoes and everything else.


While searching area racquet sports stores, most options were designed for tennis. The few pickleball bags I did find were either too small or fitted for paddles only. Then one day, diving deep into YouTube searching for help with improving my pickleball game, I came across a fellow lefty and CRBN ambassador, Tanner Tomassi and his channel Tanner Pickleball.


I was not yet familiar with CRBN, so I jumped at checking out their website with backpacks top of my mind. Finally, a simple selection of bags and backpacks designed specifically for pickleball. For me, the CRBN Pro Team Backpack seemed like it was exactly what I was after so I made the purchase.

My CRBN backpack has exceeded expectations after a few months of use. The first thing that struck me was the designed space for my laptop! As my passion for pickleball has influenced where I travel, this bag has also blended perfectly for work needs, like when travelling through airports, for example. Safely securing my paddle plus my MacBook Air. Plus, it has plenty of room for mixing charging cords, along with my court shoes.


CRBN's backpack offers other unique features that enhance its usability. The built-in shoe compartment is another great feature. After matches, I can easily store my shoes separately from my gear or other packed needs. This small addition makes a huge difference that I didn’t realize I needed until now.


The CRBN Pro Team Backpack has become a fun part of my pickleball gear, with the added bonus of being able to use it when mixing in work travel. From its functional design, durability and extra features, it’s everything I need in a travel backpack.
