Tennis Legends Return to Las Vegas for the Ultimate Showdown

Get ready for a fun event as the now annual Pickleball Slam is set to make its return to Las Vegas next month on ESPN.

This exciting competition gathers iconic tennis superstars to battle in the fastest-growing sport in America right now — pickleball. Whether you are a devoted tennis fan or a newcomer to this latest sports craze, you will have the chance to witness rivalries revisited, but with a twist, all played out on the pickleball court.

Who Are The Legends Competing?

Fans can look forward to seeing Pickleball Slam Champions (and tennis legends) Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf return to defend their title against challengers, former U.S. Open Champion Andy Roddick and new playing partner, 2014 Wimbledon Finalist Genie Bouchard. The showdown will be featured at the Michelob ULTRA Arena located at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino with a $1-million purse on the line.

The Duel In The Desert live on ESPN

The event will be broadcast live on ESPN Sunday, February 16 at 4pm EST beginning first with a singles match-up between Andre and Andy. Followed by a second match with Steffi and hardcourt specialist Mardy Fish, playing against Genie and another U.S. tennis star-turned-pickleball enthusiast, John Isner. Match 3 will be the true Dual In The Desert with Andre and Steffi defending their title.

The Trash Talking Has Begun...

Andy Roddick will be bringing it to Pickleball Slam 3

As Pickleball Slam 3 returns to the desert in a few short weeks, the mind games have already begun with Andy taking to social media to spark the rivalry.

Andre and Andy were the original Pickleball Slam champions taking down icons John McEnroe and Michael Chang when first hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Andy was then replaced in Pickleball Slam 2 by Andre for his wife Steffi who would go on to win again playing against a returning McEnroe and his new playing partner, Maria Sharapova.

Getting cut is never easy and Andy is using that as fuel for more Las Vegas heat as you can tell in his recent Instagram post.
